Poker Zone Live Camera Install Instructions

This instructional will walk you through the steps required to configure your computer to run the live camera applet. This applet is safe to run - there are no viruses or spyware in it. Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid any problems.

You need to be running Internet Explorer 6 or higher and be connected to a high-speed Internet service. This program will not work with any other browser other than Internet Explorer.

Step 1: Click on Tools > Internet Options.

Step 2: Click on the Security tab and then on the Custom Level button.

Step 3: Scroll down until you see the option "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" Change the setting to Prompt. Click on OK in the Custom Level window and in the Internet Options window to exit both.

Step 4: Right Click on this link and select "Open in new Window" or "Open in new Tab". This points to the same address as the link on the main camera page. The page that comes up will look like the picture below. Select the "MPEG4 Encoder Viewer" and click Submit.

Step 5: When the new page loads, Internet Explorer will give you a security warning saying that it has stopped Internet Explorer from installing an ActiveX Control. Click on the warning as shown below and select Install ActiveX Control.

Step 6: Click on the Install Button on the window that appears.

Step 7: After you click Install, there will be a component downloaded and installed. Please be patient as this generally takes a couple minutes.

Step 8: After the component installs, you may be prompted with another security warning asking whether you want to run the ActiveX controll. Go ahead and run it. When it is finished you will end up at a screen similar to the image below. Click on the "DSL/Cable/T-1" option. Next select the "1 Window" radio button and then click Submit. You can also use the 2 Window or the Multi View options but they are overkill as there is only one public camera available.

Step 9: Click on the Play symbol in the middle of the window.

A login screen will come up as shown below. Enter Guest in as the username and leave the password blank. Press OK.

If all went as planned, you should now be viewing the main overhead camera!

On occasion, a No Priviledge error will be reported. If this happens to you, click on the button that looks like a camera with two opposing arrows on top of it. Select Camera 9 and press the Play button once again. If it still doesn't work, try refreshing the page.
